I have other flannel sets (not this brand). I bought these on sale for $14.99 back in December 2007. I didn't get to use them right away. Amazon you've lost a trusted customer.
I never dreamed Amazon would sell such a cheap product. I won't get caught again spending $30+ from Amazon without checking it as soon as I receive it. So when things calmed down and ready to wash my new sheets and put on the bed.WOW.was I ever disappointed. You know how that goes with the holidays.things just get pushed to the back burner.
The reason being.We slept one (1) night on those sheets and woke up the next morning with fuzz balls all over us, our other bedding, mattress cover.everything. I couldn't send them back because I didn't even take them out of the package until after my 30 day return period was up. I ordered a queen set in blue and a regular set in pink. and we love them and in my 50 some odd years I've never seen such bad flannel.
I washed those sheets 4 times each just trying to get them to a point of not having so much fuzz and lint balling up creating a mess in the laundry room every time they were taken out of the dryer & having to vaccum that up. I washed them before using then I put the queen size on our bed and never did put the pink ones on the other bed. It was a mess.
When you wash/dry them, it comes out very wrinkled and attracts a lot of lint. The flannel sheets are OK for the price.
We've had such a long, snowy and cold winter we didn't take them off until the 1st of April. wash nicely. These sheets are great. were so warm and cozy.
Don't let the negative reviews sway you. I bought a set for my Mom last Christmas and have fallen in love with them. So much so I would buy them from anyone not 100% satisfied. They are totally worth the money. These are the softest flannel sheets I have ever slept in. I have purchased many expensive flannels in the past but these are by far my favorite.
Love these They are so very warm and heavy and fluffy for those very cold winter nights.
